The Pete D’Amour Softball Club is a unique collaboration of softball organizations in Southwest Virginia. This first-of-its-kind softball development program combines the expertise of college-level coaching with the resources of a local softball organization. Here we welcome entry-level to experienced athletes across age groups regardless of travel team or school affiliation. Our goal is simple: to support and grow softball.

Our philosophy is to develop softball players that are highly competitive, but also respect the game. We aim to provide affordable instruction because money shouldn’t be a barrier to becoming a better softball player.

Motivators. Educators. Mentors.

Fagan played professionally in Japan for two years and just finished her 4th professional season in America.

No stranger to high-level college softball, Fagan was an All-American at Missouri and graduated in spring 2016. The infielder earned All-SEC second-team honors twice (2015, ’16) and was the fourth overall pick to the Akron Racers in the 2016 National Pro Fastpitch Draft. Her first year in the NPF she earned Rookie of the Year.

Following her graduation in Columbia, Fagan played in the NPF and Japan Women’s Professional League, and most recently in the new American league, Athletes Unlimited.

She can give hitting, slapping, infield, outfield, and catching lessons.

Caitlyn Nolan finished her four years with the Hokies as one of the better shortstops in program history, becoming the single-season record holder home runs (19) in a season and finishing second for the most RBIs (55) in a season. After opening weekend of her senior season in 2019, Nolan became the first-ever Hokie to earn NFCA National Player of the Week, following her stat line of a .714 batting average, nine RBIs, two home runs, three doubles and three walks back in her home state.

She was a key cog in Tech's run to a regular-season ACC title and an NCAA regional behind a school-record 20 ACC wins and the fourth-most regular-season wins (47) in program history in 2019.

Nolan is available for both hitting and infield lessons.

Stover is one of the few coaches in the country that played both college baseball and men’s fastpitch softball.

He coached high school baseball for 4 years and is experienced in coaching outfield and infield at the collegiate level for VT.

Stover served in the US Army’s 82nd Airborne Division and worked as a recon assistant team leader, lead company armorer and assistant battalion armorer.

He is available to give hitting, infield, and outfield lessons

The quest to be a dominant hitter begins here! Learning to hit is a process that requires player dedication and knowledgeable coaches. Our hitting instruction is designed to be accessible to new and younger softball players and is scaled up to meet the needs of more advanced players.

Each position on the field requires unique skills and mindsets. Our position coaches will focus on age-appropriate development for infielders, outfielders, and catchers. Position training is available in small group and individual formats.

Fundamentals of pitching: Offered in a small group setting to beginning pitchers at 10u and 12u levels. At this age, learning proper technique is critical to future success.

Intermediate: Offered in small group setting to experienced pitchers seeking to add power, develop new pitches, and refine mechanics.

Players need to work on their game but so do coaches. Whether new to coaching softball or a veteran, learning to coach should be more than trial and error. Special clinics will provide coaches an opportunity to interact with some of the best in the business.

Periodic clinics and camps will be offered in a variety of formats. These will be announced on our website and social media.
